4/7/24 - Fights
Last week James taught us two different wisdoms which have two different vocabularies and attitudes. The wisdom that is of this world is bitter, jealous, selfish, leads to confusion, chaos, and every vile act, eventually ends in death. This wisdom led to the death of Jesus. The wisdom that is from above is pure, peaceable, gentle, submissive, merciful, fruitful, impartial, and sincere, this wisdom is what raised Jesus from the dead.
Why are you fighting? Before we answer that question, let’s ask another question, who are you fighting? Your spouse, your child, your parent, your sibling, your grandparent, your grandchild, your friend, your boss, your employee, your neighbor, your landlord, yourself, someone here in church? Who do you fight most often? Now let us answer, what is causing these fights?
